By accessing or using Pursership ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pursership is a cloud-based ship agency management platform that provides tools for voyage management, pre-arrival documentation, PDA (Proforma Disbursement Account) preparation, master declaration, crew change and visitor management, cargo and bill of lading tracking, vessel position tracking via MarineTraffic integration, and AI-assisted email analysis.

3. Account Registration

You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems
Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows optional integration with third-party platforms including Google (Gmail), Microsoft (Outlook), and MarineTraffic. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We request only the minimum permissions necessary to provide the Service.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its underlying software, source code, algorithms, user interface, visual design, and content, is the exclusive property of Pursership and is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you upload to the Service.

You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, extract, or otherwise reproduce the Service's source code, visual design, or underlying business logic for the purpose of building a competing product or service. Unauthorized use is a breach of these Terms and may be pursued as a copyright and/or trade secret violation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pursership shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
